When I think about my own eye, for example during an eye exam, I realise the amazing complexity where the light is focused by a changeable lens, onto the retina which changes it to impulses which are collated and interpreted by my brain into a perception of the world around me. How could this not have been the design of a creator?
However it is not where the scientific evidence leads us. That leads us to evolution.
So I guess we have a fundamental choice, to give into wonder at the amazing working of the eye and all the delight of realising that there is a creator and a sense of purpose to all of this, or to follow the slow logic of scientific inquiry and believe the balance of evidence, we have evolved through natural selection and are just animals trying to make copies of ourselves before we die and return to nothingness.
